The Core Creatives Story.

Hi! I'm Essie, an actor, creative mindset mentor, and the founder of Core Creatives. I started this community with one mission in mind: to support creatives through the rollercoaster of their creative lives.

Why? Well, as an actor myself, boy do I know the ups and downs of pursuing a creative career - the moments of overwhelming doubt, the feeling of isolation, and the challenge of staying committed and motivated in the face of rejection.

I wanted to create the very support I desperately needed when I left training, where I'd gained 3 years of skills but was left utterly paralysed by self-doubt and an overwhelming fear of failure that stripped the joy from my work (and from me!)

Over the years since leaving drama school, I've been on my own personal journey to develop a creative resilience that's founded on self-belief and trust. This (ever ongoing!) process instilled in me a deep passion for creative mindset and inspired me to help others who feel stuck, isolated, or overwhelmed.

And so Core Creatives was born! After months of research, feedback, and testing ideas through workshops, Core Creatives evolved into a thriving community where creatives come together to build focus, accountability, and connection.

Now, through weekly calls and a vibrant community membership, Core Creatives has grown into a supportive, motivating space for anyone looking to nurture their creativity. Whether you’re starting out or have been working in your field for years, we’re here to help you stay on track and keep moving forward.
